Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on generative AI and machine learning algorithms to improve Prevess's predictive personalization capabilities
• Combining the full power of large language models with more traditional NLP algorithms
• Work with the engineering team to implement AI and machine learning models into the software stack
• Participate in the full software engineering lifecycle, from idea generation and brainstorming to prototyping, implementation, testing, and deployment of AI and machine learning models
• Continuously explore and stay up to date with advancements in AI and machine learning technologies
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and maintain the platform ecosystem and engineering best practices

To fit this role, you should have a good grasp of modern natural language processing methods and be able to use open source or implement simple methods to create prototypes for business tasks. You should be skilled in packaging your work for demos and constantly come up with ideas to improve it, such as enhancing quality, speeding up inference, and refining workflows.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in AI and machine learning research and development
• Experience in implementing AI and machine learning algorithms using Python, TensorFlow, or similar tools
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience or strong interest in sport and nutrition science
• Experience with semantic search
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP), LLM and computer vision
• Experience with deployment and maintenance of AI models on AWS infrastructure using IaC tools like Pulumi/Terraform
